STIRLING ROCK could describe many things – it could be a type of music, or description of the large rocky, volcanic plug upon which Stirling Castle was built, or it could conjure up thought of a crumby and edible sweet, much akin to Edinburgh rock.

“Are You Coming To The Party?” is the first Stirling Rock album, which features their interpretation of ten songs which were originally recorded by The Sensational Alex Harvey Band.

During his time living in Glasgow, lead vocalist LYNDEN WILLIAMS, had attended a SAHB concert at Glasgow’s Apollo Theatre and also encountered Alex whilst strolling in the street-a nod and a smile taking place between the two.

Stirling Rock has so been named as it will be a conduit for an updating of a series of recordings made by two Stirling High School classmates, Lynden Willams and Graham Whitelaw.
