An all-star Memorial Concert is being held in memory of British bassist Mo Foster who died in July of this year.

Titled ‘One Mo Time’ (a play on words the man himself would have approved of), the show takes place in London this November (2023) and is being organised by Mo’s fellow musicians, Ray Russell and David Stark.

An evening of special guests performing tracks Mo composed and recorded, all proceeds from the evening will help support Mo’s wife Kay’s early onset dementia care.

Performers include rock and blues vocalist Deborah Bonham along with Kim Goodie, Moon Williams, Denny McCaffery and Jimmy Helms; guitarists Ray Russell and Phil Hilborne; keyboardists Tony Hymas and Jim Watson;  bassists, George Baldwin and Lawrence Cottle; drummers Nic France, Gary Husband and Ian Palmer; brass from John Thirkell, Chris Biscoe (alto) and Tim Whitehead (sax); percussionists Corrina Silvester, Clem Cattini and Brian Bennett.

Also expected to apprear are singer Judie Tzuke and in a video tribute, Leo Sayer.

A Memorial Concert for Mo Foster – ‘One Mo Time’ takes place on 27th November 2023 from 7pm at the 229.london venue.
