Recorded in 1976 “Two Man Band” was the final album from the partnership of John Fiddler and Peter Hope Evans.
Recorded at Pete Townshend’s Eel Pie Studios, stylistically it was difficult to classify the album, so unique were the band and so British the sound.
Having left their previous label Polydor with whom they had enjoyed significant commercial success (Hit singles “One And One Is One, Slip And Slide, Rising Sun” the album was a new beginning.
But Punk was around the corner and John Fiddler moved on to reinvent himself as the fresh- faced rock star and lead singer and songwriter with British Lions.
