With 50^th anniversary reissues of the band’s catalogue well underway, Mott The Hoople are in the news. But who were the band before? And after? What happenended to their members?

Singsong Music administers studio out-takes and demos from Mott’s 1970s studio albums for CBS Records; a 1967 album by Doc Thomas Group, the band before they became Mott; live 1970s Mott recordings from the UK and US; studio recordings of satirical Christmas tunes from 1976 (we kid you not) by Mott under the alter ego of The Paper Bags; next up, they became British Lions – we have studio and live music to share with you; and we also represent latest studio solo albums by former band members Verden Allan and Luther Grosvenor.
